New Sideshow Massacre Shirts
The other big news this weekend are two new Sideshow Massacre shirts.
Following the sell out and retirement of my previous robot shirts, I have new robot shirts!
Available in red, grey, light blue and dark blue (only two dark blue left).
I’m also dropping a limited number of the Morgue Style shirts on black and white.
All Sideshow Massacre shirts are now $15
Cold weather mean more layers…which means buy 3 of these shirts and wear them simultaneously. Increase your style and your girth.
‘Tis the Season blah blah Zombie
I’m still trying to figure out how to reach the most people (old and new) with these posts without spamming the hell out of the people who already follow my hijinks (and I love you for it).
Christmas is a month away. Now is the time to obtain cards to send to close friends, mortal enemies and elderly reletives with a lot of money and a heart condition.
Sideshow Massacre happens to have the perfect cards, that may cause fortuitous “accidents”.
Proffesionally printed, each card includes an envelope. That’s half the battle. Write something endearing or subltey threatening and you’re all set.
$2.50 each.
If you love the cards, share the post. If you can get a picture of someone’s amused or repulsed face looking at the cards, post that.
To Market, To Market…
Since we’re on the topic of the Rock n’ Roll market (I was), I thought I’d get an opinion on these handy canvas bags?
Would anybody rock an affordable and unbelievably versatile canvas bag?
Just think of what you could carry.
Think about it.
Thoughts?
To All a Good Night…
My sister has been visiting since Saturday so I have accomplished next to nothing. The freaks will be back to normal in just a few days. In the meantime I’m trying to drum up some interest in Christmas cards, ’tis the season.
I will be printing early next week. They’re available through me at dcptcon@hotmail.com, through comments on this post or through the Sideshow Massacre Facebook page.
There will also be a Sideshow Massacre table at this year’s Rock n’ Roll market at Logan’s. So if you’re in the Victoria area the weekend of November 24th, pop in and say “hi”.
Morgue Style has Arrived – No Head for the Undead
Working on a new t-shirt here at Sideshow Massacre.
A couple of colourways should arrive soon.
Morgue Style – No Head for the Undead
I’d wear it, would you wear it?
Duke of Sooke Hillclimb
This will just be a brief post to assure my blog that I haven’t forsaken it. There are a ton of commissions on the go, as they are finished I’ll be able to start posting them.
In the meantime, a friends birthday was celebrated with the first annual Duke of Sooke Hillclimb. This involved a $200 car, 5 acres of wilderness (give or take), an unused terrifying gravel “road” and a full day of fun.
First the car needed some styling.
More after the jump. Beware, post DOES contain peens!
Forever Awful. First Gala ever, check.
You can continue to see the work all month though. You should check it out. The shenanigans went down at Talk’s Cheap 556B Pandora ave. and that’s where it remains.
More pictures of my first solo outing, after this break.
Forever Awful. On the Radio!
The show is dropping in 12 days. My stress level is doing the exact opposite.
Jason Lamb was nice enough to plug my show in this weeks episode of his Punk show. You may know him from The Zone 91.3 morning show as well as his Punk Show
As always, you should listen to the entire show, the music is fantastic and features a lot of local punk. In this case, you should also listen for my plug from 26:55 -27:55.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about…you’re dead to me.
Version 2
Second version of the art show poster. Coming from Darryl once again. Love it.
Share it around!
Coming June 29th…
Thanks again to Clawmageddon at Foxhound Digital for bringing the grotesque to life.
Flying Solo. Parental Guidance Advised.
At the end of June I’ll be having a small solo art show. It opens on the 29th and runs for the month of July. I’m trying to get the word out, so if you know anyone who likes zombies, demons, vomit, poo jokes and ludicrous cartoon genitalia, let them know.
Downtown Victoria at the corner of Pandora and Government.
Contact me with any questions.
You may also be spammed with this message and updates over the next five weeks or so.
Forever awful.
Monday Doodle – Our Lumpy Leader
With this out of my system, I would say it’s time to get to work…for real…right now…
Bentmafk the Noun? Verb?
Bentmafk is a video production company that was looking for some swag to get their name out into the world. I did up some line art for t-shirts and stickers and they should be real and existing very soon. I figure if the designs are available on their page HERE, then I can post them up as well.
There were actually two versions of the last design. I like the first one but we’ll see.
Keep your eye out for this stuff dropping and for some full colour designs (you may have noticed the zombie in a previous post).
Also, with the Dapper Camera shirt, which layout do you prefer?
Here we are. Thanks for Coming.
2011 was mind blowing to me. Art, creativity, expression of any sort has always been a severely private thing to me. To be coveted as a secret life and occasionally a secret shame. This all changed in 2011 and I couldn’t be happier. Exposing my work to the world has been an enlightening experience, charging my confidence, my self-esteem, eliminating (at least lessening) many of the negative feelings I’ve been surrounding myself with for so long.
Over the past year, I’ve not just been paid for design and art work, but specifically for my style and the things I truly love to create. I’ve participated in a number of art shows through a few different venues here in Victoria. I was shocked…I am shocked.
Visual art is a strange thing, hard to find value in it if you can do it and appearing as sorcery to those who can’t.
I think my goal for this year is to write a coherent and potentially inspiring blog post. For now, incoherent ramblings.
A proper thank you and shout-out to everyone that has changed my life in such a short time may require it’s own post.
Stay tuned.
Make things, make art, show the world. You’ll be surprised the positive things that WILL come of it.
Fighting Irrelevance.
…and losing.
New things to show. “Fresh” on the right will be on display at Absolute Underground for their “Zombie Feast” show, if you’re a fan of blood, guts and impulse driven flesh munchers, go check it out. The nameless muppet on the left is on display now in Monster Party, upstairs within Talk’s Cheap.
Check both these places out, see art, meet rad people and get your fill of cartoon wieners…?
Drippy Dick Driveway Drift
So I lied, there is a new video of Josh’s Deadbeat/Sideshow Massacre drift toy.

What Do a Unicorn, a Penis, a Crocodile, a Cop and a Cyclops Have in Common?
I have an art blog. This art blog. A place where I can showcase whatever it is I’m working on at the moment and try and get some input on what it is I’m doing.
My galleries of finished work will be all along the top, tab styles, you should check it out…go on, I’ll wait…feel better? Now in this main section I’ll update the day to day happenings and projects on the go. If I figure out how to do anything, this may even lead to tutorials.
To kick things off, the answer to the title of this post, they are all things I’ve drawn while drinking with friends.
There’s a link to the right for Victoria’s Drink and Draw group. It shouldn’t need a ton of explanation. There is a group that meets at the Bent Mast Pub every Thursday night and draws obscene things over beer and occasionally beef. I’m not sure you have to draw obscene things, it’s just the way it turns out. This should give a taste of what it is I do (I’m sorry mom), if you’re in the area Thursday nights, you should check the group out.
Thanks to Caleb Hystad for running the show and updating the Drink and Draw site (and providing scans for me to hijack) as well as Laura Bifano and Trevor Gieske the other two DnD reprobates.
I’ll be changing this blog a lot over the next few days so just be patient as new things will pop up constantly.
Little rewards for the observant.
