New Work Deserves New Watch
Finished a small painting today…maybe…almost finished. Also threw together some Sideshow Massacre swag packs for anyone wanting to add danger and excitement to their life.
Kept plugging away at the graphic novel flatting work, the end is in sight.
Lastly, though I’m not one for wearing watches, I bought a watch.
Of course it turns into a robot. What?
“Various Shapes Mysteriously formed as wishes” Thank you Hong Kong circa 1982
END!
Drifters Gonna Drift
The pictures from Penticton are starting to appear across the webiverse. The team at Big Boy Media have amazing shots from the day HERE, they are the source for all things drift and automotive in the West. Check out their site or find them/like them on Facebook, they like you, it’s only polite.
Thanks to Josh Reading and Gaelen Norman for letting me throw some artwork action shots up on this blarg as well.
Sideshow Massacre brand rims. Yup, I’m a pretty big deal.
More after the break.
Spray Jobs in Back Alleys
With the highly anticipated Drift Union Invitational coming up this past weekend, I had a friend looking for some artwork on his drift slag. I would say that Josh is one of the most interesting island drifters to watch if not one of the best. I knew that there would be a lot of eyes on his car.
I’ve done a lot of small black and white work on friends cars, you can find some of it in the tabs up above, but I wanted this to be a little more ambitious and involved.
Keep reading (looking at pictures) after the break.
That’s All
I was playing with spraypaint, post robot show but still in a robot-y mood.
“You can have her love, but she’ll take your balls”
Hanging at Monster Party right now.
Simple but endearing and adorable.
One more post on the horizon, I like to break them up into “things”
Happiness.
There will be a few posts tonight to clog up people’s feeds. I seem to post in bursts, there are always things going on but sometimes I like to wait until my work is out in the general public before I talk about it here.
This first post is just superfluous. Simple things that have made me happy the last couple of weeks.
Good food.
Secretly smuggled, foreign drinks.
Supplies and experiments.
As always, keep reading. Comment if you want me to keep posting, comment if you want me to stop.
Back in a minute.
Thank you! Yes, YOU!
Just to make sure I double-blip on everyone’s interweb, I’m making another quick post. After some delays, the perk packages from my Indie GoGo fundraising are all ready to go. I’m thrilled with how everything turned out and still blown away by the generosity extended to me.
I also have to give a huge shout out to Dustin at Cloud City Merchandising again. He has come through over and over with all my printing needs, I’ll post up the new buttons and hoodies very soon.
You guys are awesome.
Werd.
Welcoming Our New Overlords
Robot Party has come and gone but the carnage remains. You missed out if you weren’t at the show but there’s still time, the artwork will be up for another few weeks.
So many talented artists and the metal-loving masses converged on Monster Party, including some emissaries from Skynet. Read more, or look at pictars, after the break.
Vinyl Fetish
I’m really going to have to start updating this thing daily or pretty close. There is so much work being done that when it comes to sitting down and writing about it, I’m at a loss.
Read, there are doings a transpiring.
Hat Wappened?
I figured it was about time for an update. Life’s been hectic and with a promotion at work, making time for anything else has been very difficult.
My most recent artwork was and is part of an Easterish show at the Absolute Underground Store/Gallery. If you’re in Victoria you should pop down, it will be there for a few more weeks.
Big thanks to Ira and John for putting the show together and providing another venue for my stuff.
Also for pizza.
The Gates to Cloud City are Now Open
Based out of Port Alberni, Cloud City Merchandising is open and ready for your business. It’s targeted at people who don’t suck. So, if you’re awesome and need screen printing/graphic design you need to give Dustin a call.

Not Quite Alive, Not Quite Dead
Doing some new work, the new paper has me inspired and giddy…wait, not giddy. Subject matter is the same. Monsters and robots, always monsters and robots.
Olio Doodlejam
Olio had a doodle jam this past week. It was a chance for a bunch of artists to get together and casually draw and hang out. I wasn’t feeling very social, I kept my head down and doodled for a while. It was good to meet Shawn O’Keefe and Ryan Thompson in person and see some old faces, even though I couldn’t carry on a conversation.
The Past Week…
Monster Party is back. It opened in it’s new Pandora St. location last Friday with a night of music and art. Featuring the art of Kelly Shpeley (plush robots, fantastic oil paintings and elaborate sculpture), Jessica Harvey (the monster face wall and door hand), Me (various canvases) and the man himself Phil Osborne (he built the world, we just lived in it). Read on for more pics.
They’re Here
The newest incarnation of Monster Party opens tonight inside the hallowed walls of Talk’s Cheap. Art, DJs and debauchery are the order of the evening.

Now, for a small update.
The answer is yes, I do amuse myself. Sometimes all you need is paper towel a pen and a 15 minute break at work.

Straight Flingin’
New doodle, while sitting watching The Social Network. Not sure why it made me think of poo.
Also threw together a small Neck Face tribute for this weeks Blackbook Battle. I’m still new to graffiti in general so I don’t seem to have the same heroes or the same history as a lot of the battling community. Still happy with how it looks.
Another post very shortly.
I’m Back and I got Prezzies!
I spent my Christmas time back in Ontario with friends and family but I’m back and ready to get some work done. Well I was away I recieved a few sticker packs, very exciting. Also, if you pass through Vancouver near the Bridgeport station, go by Sushi from the sketchy trailer caravan across the street, love it.
Keep reading for stickers…HURRAY STICKERS!
Flab Hammock
Finished a band shirt. Hopefully I’m not releasing and endorsing this too early. The insane colour was committed once again by Dustin Dame.
Support new music and rad monsters doing stuff.
